Crash Jones
Up until the age of 18, I lived and worked (endlessly, it seemed) on a farm in the foothills of North Carolina. After leaving, I was educated at university while living off friends who exchanged term papers for food and beer ... mostly beer.
I have been paid to fix computers, research financial institutions, frame houses, create web-sites, write columns and articles for newspapers, edit magazines and market products at sporting events across the nation.
People with mostly-empty wallets publish my poems, plays, essays and short stories.
I am happily married and living in Mississippi (wishing I were somewhere ... anywhere ... else).
